RagTime 6.5 released

RagTime.de, developer of the award winning business publishing solution RagTime, announces today the official release of RagTime 6.5 for Mac and Windows. “It has been our goal to make RagTime 6.5 the fastest, most stable and most user-friendly RagTime ever”, declared Helmut Tschemernjak, CEO of RagTime.de Development GmbH. He adds, “the extensive development and optimization efforts over the last two years, utilizing new powerful development tools to modernize all components, have enabled us to deliver the most solid and easiest to use RagTime to our customers.”

Important improvements of RagTime 6.5 include

•  Much faster performance on Mac Intel computers due to Universal Binary
• Enhanced support for automated processing, on Windows using OLE functions, and on Mac with AppleScript
• New layout feature with text on curves
• More calculation power due to 150 new statistics and financial mathematics functions
• Improved stability and overall increased performance
  

RagTime extensions updated for RagTime 6.5 offer:

• Simple to use leaflet printing on desktop printers (Johannes), CSV-Import/-Export, additional spreadsheet functions (MetaFormel, Martin’s PowerFunction)
• Access to FileMaker databases with updated RagTime FileTime X extension
• Enhanced report and database publishing compatibility in connection with ODBC databases using the updated RagTime ODBC connectivity for Windows and Mac OS X
  

As of today the new RagTime 6.5 is delivered worldwide. “The new version is well received by our customers as can be seen by the great number of preordered upgrades we received so far”, reported Friedrich Eul, CEO of RagTime.de Sales GmbH, handling all national and international RagTime sales. “We are going to deliver the software to these customers first.” New customer can order RagTime 6.5 and all RagTime extensions starting April 20th. The software will be delivered immediately. Additionally, RagTime 6.5 for Mac and Windows can be downloaded and tested for a 30 day trial period.
